Covid-19
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our customers for their continued support and we hope that you and your family and friends are well and staying safe.
The K9 Creche dog daycare reopened on Monday 1st June 2020. Our business is adhering to all of the government guidelines which have been set out to keep the public safe as well as customers and staff, whilst still playing our part in protecting the NHS. Please see all of our procedures below.
We are now offering spaces to new customers and will be providing a virtual tour to all serious enquiries.
Defra has stated that licensed commercial dog day care and kennels can continue to trade. They expressly state that it is important for businesses to carry on, not least to ensure the economy keeps working and in the case of pet businesses to help safeguard the welfare of the nation’s pets. Pet businesses play a key role in this and should operate within the strict advice on social distancing and hygiene. To read our full statement on reopening which contains all of the relevant links to government, defra and cfsg information please click the link below.
Whilst there is no evidence that dogs can contract Covid-19 directly, there is evidence to suggest that they can carry the virus on their coat if they have been in direct contact with infected droplets. It could potentially then transmit to others who touch the dogs fur, hence the need to spray or wash all dogs as explained further in the documents below.
All existing & new customers MUST read the information in the 3 links below before returning to the K9 Creche;
